Ethanol in fuel is hygroscopic and converts to water which can accumulate in the tank and cause corrosion, as well as creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, yeast and fungi which produce acetic acid and cause further damage to the full fuel system, including tank, pipes, injection system and carburettors. Bacteria and microorganisms in the fuel system produce matter which can block pipes. This simple, low-cost investment protects you against blocked pipes and corroded components which can mean difficult and costly repairs.

The addition of Bactofin to your fuel tank prevents this degradation of fuel, maintaining its ability to combust, inhibits the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, protecting your fuel system. Cleaning agents clean the fuel system, and the Bactofin lubricates the valvetrain, eliminating the requirement for a separate lead substitute.
